Accounting Services
The Facilities Accounting Services department supports the University by delivering comprehensive financial management functions for Facilities Services with the following as its main areas of emphasis:
- To maintain and oversee the Facilities Services Department budget, ensuring financial accountability, transparency, and alignment with University policies and operational needs.The Facilities Accounting Services department reviews, manages, and processes all financial activity for the Facilities Services Department including renovation projects, maintenance, engineering, HVAC, custodial, grounds, and motor pool services.
- To review, manage, and process all financial activity associated with Facilities Services operations, including renovation projects, maintenance services, engineering, HVAC, custodial, grounds, and motor pool functions.
- To provide responsive and knowledgeable business operations support to the Business and Finance Division, campus departments, vendors, and the Facilities Services organization through accurate and timely financial management practices.
- To deliver a full range of financial services, including budget preparation, financial reporting, internal and external billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
