Building Services

The Building Services department delivers comprehensive building repair and maintenance functions to the University with the following as its main areas of emphasis:

• To provide a broad spectrum of maintenance and repair services for University buildings and utility systems, including metal fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems maintenance, roofing, and building envelope repair.
• To ensure campus facilities remain operational, safe, and functional through the work of highly skilled in-house technicians and contracted service providers who support both routine maintenance and specialized repair needs.
• To deliver maintenance services across all University-owned buildings, including those on the main campus and at the five off-campus operations.
• To serve as one of the University’s primary responders for after-hours emergencies, addressing urgent issues such as utility failures, system breakdowns, and damage resulting from natural events in order to restore operations, limit facility damage, and maintain safety for the campus community.
