Motor Pool

The Motor Pool Services department maintains a fleet of vehicles to support the transportation needs of the University community. Motor Pool provides vehicles for students, faculty, and staff for both on- and off-campus travel, with the following as its main areas of emphasis:

• Maintain and service the University’s fleet of cars, vans, and utility vehicles through routine preventative maintenance and mechanical repair.
• Ensure all University vehicles remain safe, reliable, and available for use by campus departments.
• Provide cost-effective transportation options by managing vehicle reservations, usage tracking, and departmental billing.
• Supply fuel for University vehicles and maintain all fuel reports required by the State of Tennessee.
• Coordinate with Enterprise/National Business Car and Truck Rental when Motor Pool vehicles are unavailable, ensuring uninterrupted access to transportation resources.
