Requirements

• Obtain a parking pass for the length of the job. You can do this in advance of your visit! Visitor parking is available in all valid unreserved or unrestricted parking spaces on our campus. All visitors are required to obtain a permit from the Parking and Transportation Services Office at 205 City View Dr., or pay by plate here.  Visitors parking is  $2.00 per day. Passes are $2/day.
  Note: Fleet vehicles do not require a parking pass.

  1. Go to www.mtsu.edu A – Z search (top right corner) > P for Parking Services > Visitors, or click the link: https://parking.mtsu.edu/visit/. Register for a Free Account and enter your license plate information. The parking attendance will look up your vehicle by the license plate number to ensure you have paid for parking for your visit. You may also visit Parking and Transportation Services office at 205 City View Drive.

• Start of day: Call/text your MTSU contact

  • When on the way if the space needs to be unlocked OR
  • When you arrive to check in.
• End of day
  • Call or text when you are about to wrap up for the day.

Reminders

• Please wear some type of identification: Name badge, uniform, etc.
• All parking rules apply: Do not park in ADA spaces, fire lanes, etc. Visitor spaces still require a parking pass.
• Do not block sidewalks and do not park on the grass (unless authorized in advance by the project manager). If necessary, pull close to unload and then move vehicle to authorized parking.
• Loading docks are only for the time it takes to load/unload. The parking pass does not give access to park in the loading dock all day.
• Please respect the students’ privacy.
• Send any invoices to fsdaccounting@mtsu.edu
